Your Stay 

What are check-in and check-out times? 

Check-in is from 2:00pm – 6.00pm; with check-out at 10:00am.  

Where is Reception? 

Our Reception is staffed between 8.00am and 6.00pm and is easily found on your arrival.  To contact Reception prior to your arrival, or during your stay, please call +61 7 4787 1366.  

Is there off-street parking available? 

Yes, each guest room has allocated, undercover parking for one vehicle.  

 I am wanting to book accommodation on the same day as my arrival date?  

You can instantly check accommodation availability, and make bookings, via our website, or by calling us on +61 7 4787 1366. 

 I am arriving late at night. How do I get my keys? 

If you are planning to arrive after 6.00pm, please contact us by phone prior to your arrival to arrange for your key collection. 

 Can I extend my booking? 

Yes, if we have availability, you are welcome to extend your stay - please contact us directly via email or telephone to discuss your new departure date requirements.  

 Do you provide Express Check-In and Check-Out? 

Yes, if you would like to arrange an express check-in, please let us know in advance of your arrival and you will be provided within information on your key collection.  

 If you require an express check-out, please let us know the day prior and we will arrange for your account to be finalised.  When departing, please ensure you have taken all your belongings, please drop your key in the key box that can be found at Reception.   

Guest Amenities  

I am travelling with young children – can you provide a cot? 

We warmly welcome children, but unfortunately our accommodation rooms do not allow for additional bedding.   

 For families travelling, you may wish to consider booking our Family Room which can accommodate up to five guests.  

 I have already booked my accommodation and now have an extra person travelling with us?  

 Except for our Family Room, all room rates are based on two guests – an additional nightly charge of $15.00 per person is charged for additional guests, up to the maximum per room type.  

 4drdeUnfortunately, our accommodation rooms do not allow for additional bedding.   

 Please contact us prior to your arrival to confirm how many guests will be staying, or alternatively, to book an additional room for your stay.  

 Do you allow pets? 

No, unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Charters Towers Motel.  

 Can I smoke at Charters Towers Motel?  

Our accommodation is strictly non-smoking.  A designated outside area is provided for guests who wish to smoke and we ask that you dispose of your cigarettes with care.  

 Do the guest rooms have ensuite bathrooms? 

Yes, all our accommodation rooms offer ensuite bathrooms featuring a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet.   

 We have two guest rooms that have fully-accessible bathrooms equipped with support railings, a walk-in shower and pull-down shower seating. 

 Do you provide towels and linen? 

Yes, all bedding and bathroom towels are supplied for your stay.  Daily servicing of your room is available on request.  

 Pool towels can be found in the BBQ area for guests wanting to use the swimming pool during their stay. 

 Is there free Wi-Fi? 

Yes, we provide our guests with complimentary Wi-Fi during your stay – please be aware that speeds can vary in regional areas and can be slower than the city, or at home.  

 Is your accommodation easily accessible for guests? 

Yes, with family and fully-accessible accommodation options, Charters Towers Motel is perfect for guests with limited mobility and, or wheelchair requirements and for families travelling with children.  

 Can I prepare and cook my own food? 

Yes, each guest room features a small fridge and freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery.   

 Guests have access to an external, undercover, dining area with barbecue facilities and an air fryer oven where meals can be prepared during your stay.  A selection of food items can be purchased at Reception to cook in the air fryer oven.  

Guests can also purchase cold drinks, slushies and coffee from our automated machine that is located at Reception.  

 Do you provide laundry facilities? 

Yes, laundry facilities are available. 

 Do you offer baggage storage?  

Yes, we can store your bags during the day.  Please ensure you collect them prior to 6.00pm when our Reception closes for the evening.
